Rumor Debunked: FFXIII Memo Has No Demo
Yesterday, word began to spread that we might see a Final Fantasy XIII demo made available this week after a mysterious disc showed up to the Square Enix offices and a tweet from SE Public Relations rep Sonia Im that it would be "something cool most of you can participate in a few days from now." Today, however, she put an end to the rumors, tweeting"Think it's best if I set expectations for my #FFXIII tweet. It is NOT a demo. But it's cool regardless! So please don't be too disappointed."
She reiterated later "just to confirm one more time, whatever that memo eluded to has nothing to do with a #FFXIII demo. It is something cool tho, I promise!"
Oh well. Easy come, easy go; we'll just have to wait to see what it is.
