FFX is millions better than these two (that have lots of weak points).

shall i quickly explain why ffx was not as good as ffvii and ffviii - from my point of view of course.

1. No world map

2. No chance to drive / fly vehicles

3. The game felt very linear, at least in the original FF games you had some freedom (be it your own doom because monsters were harder in other parts to others)

4. The main character was not as strong as in previous iterations (I found Tidus irrating at times, but he was tolerable)

5. It was not as hard, the hardest boss I ever battled was omega weapon in FF8, now that is the definition of hard.

Other than that i thinkk FFX did have a unique story, and the gameplay was very solid, also i loved the levelling up system, it was pretty unique at the time, so I will not complain too much.
