The 360 will be discontinued and stop selling before the PS2. Thats right, the PS2 will have outlasted 2 generations of Xbox and sold more then both Xboxes combined by the time its done. 95% certainty.

If Microsoft has the next XBox be fully compatible with the 360, then do expect that to happen.  The 360 gets phased out and replaced by the Next XBox.
