I have an obscure theory. Read a thread earlier about some PS3 shortages in some Best Buys in the US. Someone knew a store manager (their boss's son or something) and called him up, and he said 'Wait and see in a few days *laugh*'
Obscure theory- 12/17/09, New PS3 bundle including a FFXIII demo (and whatever else) or just a promotion, buy a PS3, get the FFXIII demo.
Problem- The timing sucks, why do it 1 week before christmas?
The more I think about it, the less likely it appears to be, but I don't know, I like to come up with nonsensical ideas sometimes =)
