| jneul said: Ok, before you label this as flaimbait, may I just start off by saying I am a very Proud supporter of Sony and their products and they normally all are so reliable, but recently I have noticed lots of failure posts about original PS3's failing. Unfortunatley, quite a few origianl PS3's have been failing from either YLOD or Blu-ray drive failures, which makes me think more and more about wheter maybe Sony had put a pre determined lifecycle on these things, as I never have had any problems myself before and I have always looked after my consoles, but even my PS3 is having major problems and I am replacing it with a Slim. If indeed Sony did do this, they would know for sure they would get extra sales as a boost from failures, anyway feel free to discuss. |
So why exactly would Sony force you to spend 300$ on console they are not making any profit 2 or 3 years after losing more than $100 for selling first one to you ? Please give me at least one logical answer how they benefit from it (instead of you having $300 to spend on games which would be pure profit for them).
