Typically, if you go to college you actually try to go for jobs that require more than being able to say would you like fries with that. otherwise known as jobs that require degrees.
Oh, and here's a tip: not many places will tell you to specifically list your GPA. If you don't list it, it's just assumed you don't have a good GPA.
Go to a resume workshop.

I think the attitude you've shown him thus far has eliminated any chance of him taking your advice. That's just how it works. Like, if your boss said "You're a worthless piece of shit and I'd fire you right now if you weren't useful for cleaning floors" and the next day said "Oh hey Westerman, will you go get me some coffee from Starbucks?" would you do it? Probably not. Or at least spitefully as not to take in the experience.
But really, resume workshops are helpful, Phoenix.
