yes it will sell more than the other titles...

i know at first glance your logic is sound y would a game with a smaller install base sell more than the previous titles?

the answer? hype.

and i know at first glance my logic seems terrible compared to yours, but i have to admit i had no idea what god of war was when it came out wasnt even on my radar in 2005, then the second came and i got curious, tried it in 2008 since ive been hearin all this hype about 3, i am now a commited fan and GoW3 will be a day one by for me. for critics and hardcore gamers, god of war might be the best title on ps2, but i dont think until the casual base are checking it out, the collection is only helping those like me who may have passed it in 2005, and at the current rate of preorders itl do 500k in americas alone.

day one sales prediction.

500k americas

285k europe

75k japan

day one sales=860k

ltd=5mln(it will be bundled the following black friday, and throughout the course of the console life)

i know it doesnt sound right but i work at gamestop(i know i fail lol) and this is by far our most pre ordered title 3 times higher than mass effect two mag or ff13. the hype is out there. and also it shold be noted halo climbed higher and higher each installment(numbered anyway), and the old mgs4 did better than mgs3 on a smaller base argument. the reason? hype......(and on a side note i think reach has the same potential, to do better than 3 that is)
