The first one.
I played the first one (almost finished it) and Chains of Olympus (almost finished it). I dont like the series.....really, really tried to, but can't force it. Evident by picking up Chain of Olympus and trying to beat it after giving up on the first.
I had a buddy who was religious, regarding the series. He was the one who really pushed me to play it (even lent me his PSP for CofO). I felt like I owed it to him to make up my own mind regarding it. I just couldnt enjoy it the way he wanted me too.
My experience is all based on personal taste and my dislike of the series, so please make you own determination. As a gamer, try it again and.....perhaps......it will pull you in (perhaps). I just don't like the series.
