Despite not a single ounce of gameplay or even a hint as to what to expect in the game every single person on these forums went crazy over that teaser. Now VGA shows the first 2 minutes of the opening cinematic for Halo Reach and all you can see is people complaining about the trailer, even though Bungie said there would be no gameplay shown. I mean you even claim that the graphics are barely better than Halo 3, ummm are you blind or do you have a really crappy monitor/tv? If you don't see why some people are extremely happy with what they saw then I doubt you are as big a fan of the franchise as you claim. Just to make things interesting I'm willing to bet you that Halo Reach sells more than 4 million copies if it is released by September 2010. You willing to take that bet? |
Yeah that Uncharted 2 trailer looked pretty bad and we all saw how great that game came to be.
Graphically Reach so far looks amazing but what was disappointing about the trailer was that we wanted to see more about the game play and story. This wasn't even a real trailer but more of an intro.
As for 4 million ltd, if Halo ODST can reach those numbers when it was suppose to be an expansion pack (and was made with an old game engine), Halo Reach (which is made from the ground up with a new engine) can pass that easily since it will be marketed by MS like it was an actual sequel.
