Ok, then explain why costs have doubled to tripled this generation.  The great bulk of that is infact graphics.

Take GT5... it takes 6 months of man hours to model 1 car... vs much much less for other GT games.  I believe it was... a month previously?

I mean, I love NIS strategy games... but they use PS1 level graphics.

You CAN make a game cheaper... but not one that Final Fantasy fans will accept.

No... FF7 would not need FF13 graphics. You are insane to think that. It just needs to look as good as the average HD game.. if even that.
