I have seen a lot of misinformation in this thread spread by PS fanboys.

1) Whoever said that the 360 doesn't have any exclusive Japan-only games needs to educate themselves right now. Go to Vgchartz database, select X360 under Console, region: Japan. You'd be surprised how much Japan-only stuff has remained 360 exclusive. They are just niche and aren't big sellers like Tales and Star Ocean (these are the only two major IPs that M$ lost to my knowledge. Ninja Gaiden isn't big in Japan. It's fanbase is mostly western)

2) Not everything gets ported to the PS3. Enchanted Arms, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia and Ninja Gaiden II got ported (and it's debateable whether Sigma 2 is really "enhanced" from what I've heard about comparisons between the two). And Star Ocean 4 is going to get ported soon. But the vast majority of 360 exclusives in Japan remained 360 exclusive or M$ exclusive (360/Windows OS like the visual novels and TLR). Don't use your ignorance about the 360 scene in Japan as an excuse to overlook this. Some are Japan-only, some have been localized to the western market.

3) Saying that the jrpgs on the 360 are second-rate is an insult to Mistwalker (Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon). Infinite Undiscovery while not my cup of tea, definitely has fans. Can't comment on The Last Remnant and Magnacarta II yet but those games do have a following. Famitsu loved TLR. Btw Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon are M$ property so they are not getting ported unless M$ sells off the IPs.

4) Saying that the 360 software isn't good is bs. The western otakus who are saying this stuff, stop being so close-minded and actually try western games for a change. Just because you don't have a 360 doesn't mean it doesn't have value. I am ashamed of my geeky niche Japanese interests because of how annoying and close-minded this fanbase can be in the west. It makes me sick. I like both western and Japanese games. The 360 also has a lot of good Japanese software but if you want to bash it because of your "it must suck because it's on a western console" irrationality, be my guest. It's western otakus like that that give people like me a bad name and get me branded unjustly with "weeaboo" labels and what not just because I have diverse interests.
