When I watched gameplay video of NSMB Wii on teh webz I knew I didn't really need to get the game even though it looked fun. I haven't regretted either decision so far. Of course no one ever regrets not buying a game. I've no doubt NSMB Wii is a superior game to the sidescrolling 2D platforming connoisseur. It has all the standard elements of the 2d platforming games of old that have stood this genre in such good stead. LBP does have power-ups, bosses and enemies they just come in forms that you don't expect or even recognise. What is "wrong" with LBP is that it strays too far from the 2D platforming safe zone. That only appeals to a minority of 2D platforming fans from way back. I'm not a 2D platforming fan from way back, so the things that 2D fans don't like about LBP either appeal to me a lot, or don't bother me in the slightest. The only other 2D platformer I've really loved is Oddworld, and I'm sure the hardcore 2D platform fans would rate any Mario 2D game ahead of the PS1 Oddworld games. But has Mario ever farted in a game? |
mario has everyone brainwashed with his mustashe, theres just no way to stop him =/
its over once you look at the mustache , ofcourse i figured this out before i saw him and only look at the M on his hat, im not letting that damned mustache get to me -_-
