EA will stand by Tiger right now. Not all the details or the final resolution is known.
The question will be when the contract comes up for renewal. Much of Tiger's appeal was that he "seemed" to be perfect - great golfer, concerned family man, etc. That was the reason for at least some of his deals. As for EA, as long as he is the top golfer and top draw in golf, I would imagine it will continue to pay him. Of course, whether that amount changes is anyone's guess.
What could change EA's position is if Tiger drops out of sight for six months and then starts missing cuts in major tournaments because of media pressure, hecklers, and personal demons. If that happens, look for a Tiger-less PGA Golf 2013.
