No, they don't need to. Why should I uphold your values? They aren't my values. Keep them to yourself. Teach your own kids how to live instead of blaming other people. Really, this mentality is just another excuse for innefective parenting from people to weak to take responsibility for their own lives.
What's your next argument going to be, that we should ban all video games because they train kids to be psycho-killers? Again, people need to learn how to raise their own kids responsibly.
