Yeah 1080p and its amazing. Really, I know people have said it 1,000,000 times. But the PS3 is the perfect match for an HDTV. Cable Hi-def is ok, but when you play blu-ray movies, upscale DVD, upscale PS2 games, or play games like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, or Ratchet and Clank you will be amazed.
It justifies any HDTV purchase. I just hope they will find a way to get TiVo capabilities with the PS3 in the US. They should be able to in 2009, with america upgrading the TV broadcast from NTSC to ATSC (i think thats how it goes.) Analog will be eliminated to make room for digital TV.
