For general use and games and such, I'd prefer the feel of the Windows OS as opposed to OS X. Now I certainly don't mind Macs, but as one who would rather spend the money to pick out the parts and put them together myself, Mac doesn't have much appeal to me. Outside of Final Cut and Compressor on campus, I don't think I'd need a Mac since the other programs I use are from the Adobe suite and they work on both (including Premiere and Encore to make up for the lack of Final Cut Pro and DVD studio pro).
