I find that by using gamerankings in discussions it eliminates claims of choosing a biased source to prove a point ... Consider Ratchet and Clank, each of the following sources could be used for a game:
Gamespot 75%
Gamespy 80%
1Up 85%
EGM 90%
IGN 94%
By using the average of every site, and getting a score of 89% which is very difficult to claim that it is biased ...
From what I've seen, the only people who have ever had a problem with Gamerankings are Sony fans who feel that reality has an anti-Sony bias ...
