Meh. It's fine to copy others, or at least all companies do it. The wii has the greatest motion control scheme ever and what happens next? The other two are coming out w/ their own versions.
If MS came out with their own version of home I could care less, but it won't add much unless they can make it better in some ways than Sony, to put their own spin on it. You win by differentiating yourself, copying can only get you so far-- a B or C grade- not the A you want.
