A couple things -
One thing, is Miura has stated there will be another anime season, when the manga reaches a point where it fits with another complete season. Sorry no link, this was actually announced about 3 years ago or so, feeling to lazy to find archives.
Second is, the manga is taking forever right now because Miura has become hopelesly addicted to dating sims.

Seriously though, his works are awesome, you would think he could bag some fangirl or something.... the guy seriously needs to get laid.
What really needs to happen, is some fangirl needs to go seduce him, then make him work on manga chapters for teh nookie.
