Windows 7 is awesome.
For Live messenger... just unpin it from the task bar, I think that should work. (I'll check it now and update)
I really like the way the taskbar works, and the new shortcut keys are really nice (windows key + arrow keys does different things with your opwn window.... so if you have 2 windows open and you want to transfer files between them you can either use the mouse and drag to the left/right side of the screen (as seen in the adverts) or you can use windows+left, then either alt+tab or windows + tab to change to the other window, then windows + right to snap that one to the right. Then you have 2 windows open to move files between by drag and drop like before.
Windows+up will maximise, and down will minimise (there were shortcuts for this before, but these are easier to remember)
