I love zombie movies Ive seen alot and I would like to know what are your top 10 favorites?

Here is my list:

Number 10 - Dead Alive A.K.A. Braindead

This is Peter Jacksons ultimate zombie gorefest which is also a comedy. It is know for being the goriest movie of all time I recommend it.

Number 9 - Shaun Of The Dead

Ah this movie is a breath of fresh air. I am what you may call a traditionalist zombie fan I want my zombies slow helps build atmosphere. This movie has great writing, directing, and characters.

Number 8 - A Night Of The Living Dead

George Romeros first in his long line of Dead films. I call this the first modern horror movie. This movie set the template of what zombie movies should be.

Number 7 - Return Of The Living Dead

Ah a great semi-quasi sequal to A Night Of The Living Dead. This movie is also a zombie comedy. The zombies are a little different in this one for one they talk, they run, they cannot be killed with a blow to the head. I recommend this one also has a great soundtrack.

Number 6 - The Beyond

Lucio Fulcis amazing atmospheric surreal zombie flick. Has one hell of a soundtrack and gore FX.

Number 5 - Hell Of The Living Dead

This is a no holds bar start to finish zombie film. A lot of people dont care much for this film but I see the bueaty in it.

Number 4 - House By The Cemetery

Lucio Fulcis surreal zombie flick. This one is more in the lines of a Frankenstiens monster than a traditional zombie movie. It has a great ending that will have you thinking.

Number 3 - Dawn Of The Dead (Original)

Ah this movie is just plain fun. Great soundtrack and location.

Number 2 - Zombie A.K.A. Zombi 2

Lucio Fulcis zombie masterpiece. It has the best looking zombie of all time Imo. The soundtrack is fantastic done by the great Fabio Frizzi. The gore scenes are amazing.

Number 1 - Day Of The Dead

This movie oozes dread and depression which all zombie movies should have. The actor who played Bub should of won an oscar he was amazing in this. Captain Rhoads is one of the best characters of all time. The soundtrack is fantastic. The gore is the best Ive ever seen in a zombie film.
