You really dont get it do you. You can plug it through your PC when the PS3 is off. Also you can purchase a 10 feet usb cable for a couple bucks (less expansive than buying a battery pack). So once again stop your exageration.

 

actually, you are the one who doesn't get it. I believe my original post is pretty clear when I say i can't recharge and play at teh same time with the original short cable. You just replied with some unrelated info. Did i mention that it's a pain in the ass to recharge when i'm not playing? I'm only focusin on the play and charge part.

 

I don't even have to buy a usb cable, i have a 6ft cable from my camera that fits. Once again, my original post is referring to the original short cable.
