Section 8 is almost a really good game...... almost.
TBH GFWL had a large hand in killing that game, suprise suprise. Was cause of many an end users nightmare trying to get their game to run... and they also tied it into the dedicated servers for stats reporting and etc...
Good idea in concept, in practice the servers crashed every map rotation - it took weeks to get ranked privately ran servers up and running properly, and as a result the comunity got nipped in the bud just a sit was forming, word of mouth support ended... and... I havent played or checked its forums lately, but I have a feeling its probably a ghost town on both fronts.
Shame really....
The game itself had solid play and some really good ideas, might turn into something special if they are able to stick with it.
( and yes, I did in fact pay 50$ launch day.... was hoping for the new Tribes, what can I say..)
