This is my list of games to buy:
Age Of Empires + expansion (or Age of Empires II: Gold Edition if I find it)
Anno 1404
Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena (I saw a video review and it seems to be a great game)
Deus EX (I have a feeling that it will be very expensive)
Fifa 10
Flight Simulator X
Grid
Heroes of Might and Magic IV
Need For Speed: Shift
Plants vs Zombies (it seems to be very unique and different from everything I played, I like tower defenses)
Rome: Total War (I decided that it should be my first game on the series)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed (not sure yet)
Stronghold
System Shock 2 (If it's not expensive)
The Orange Box (I will probably pick up Half Life Source later)
The Witcher
Torchlight
Tropico 3

Also, I will give Champions Online a try, if it's better than warcraft I will quit my work.

Thanks guys.

I wouldn't really suggest getting Heroes of Might and Magic IV.  Don't get me wrong, but HOMAM 3 is the best series.  I would rate the HOMAM series in the following order 3, 5, 2, 4, 1 IMO.

Each of the Total War games is really good.  Although for Empire (and I presume Napoleon) you need a beast of a PC to play (i.e. your video card may choke on the naval battles, my GTX260 had issues at max dx9 settings).  I would actually suggest going through ever TW game after Rome as well.  I personally enjoyed the setting of Medieval 2: TW more than Rome.

Another underrated game that I truly enjoyed (it may be a little outdated now, but was fairly inovative at the time) was The Dark Masiah of Might and Magic.

I would only suggest getting Need for Speed: Shift if you have a Xbox 360 controller (or one of the supported steering wheels).

Also, how can you have a PC gaming list without a Civilization game.  Civ4 and its expansions are my favorite in the series (that and it has some fantastic mods).

I'll see if I can think of anymore today.
