The guy at gamestop told me that when I went asking if they had any.

 

as far as i can see from your profile, you're living in the US.  It would make NO Sense, if the Console cant play the Games from the Country its build for.

 

so dont take him serious, he may just used that as an excuse because they had no Silver PS3's.
