I saw the Godfather for the first time about 12-18 months ago. It was like a revelation. I never knew movies could be that good. I nearly wept.

But the more affecting part was when I was too shocked to process how sorrowful a thing was (BLAM)

Track down the version where Coppola added 30-40 minutes and combined the first two (only two) Godfather movies into a 7 hour epic. Amazing stuff.
