I had forgotten Yasunori Mitsuda did Arc Rise Fantasia. I guess I really do need to pick up all those 2010 RPG's...
As for Uematsu, no, he's not overrated. He did freggin FFVI.

Sure, this is probably his best work, which was ~15 years ago. Still, it's not like Yasunori Mitsuda has yet topped Chrono Trigger from 14 years back (damn that SNES).
