That's a very complicated question.
What would the cause for the war be? If it's due to the US defaulting on its debt to a foreign power, I wouldn't support helping the US...
Also, if hypothetically a country had a good enough military to be able to invade the USA, I doubt our troops could get to the US alive. So that's another reason not to support going there.
But if we're talking about a hypothetical world in which a country can and does invade the US due to evil reasons, and if there's any reasonable probability that we can actually help, yeah I would support helping the US.
