The platforming in that game was atrocious. I wrote a thread about this just yesterday.

Looks like Bungie reacted fast to my complaints and suggestions. A huge leap forward indeed.

Yes yes, the single player platforming in ODST wasn't the greatest. But multiplayer still has everyone jumping around like bunnies on crack :)
