I will be first in line to buy a 3d bravia, I actually played half-life 1 with 30hz shutter glasses on a crt screen, and loved it. The glasses are not going to be $200, they just pulled that figure outa their ass. UP TO $200, why not say up to $53,879? I think I paid $75 for the kit with 2 pairs of wireless shutter glasses and the module to hook up to the pc, and that was a long time ago. Newer shutter glasses will be 60hz-120hz. 3D t.v. will rock people, sure the tech won't be perfect yet, but we are missing so much by waiting for the perfect 3d setup, which might not be here for another 10 years ( in my opion that would be glasses with HD micro screens for each eye and built in gyro sensors ) . FPS games will rock, football games, underwater and nature documentaries will rock, and 3d versions of rock concerts will rock.

Nvidia sells them for 200 with a built in battery.

Ofcourse, you can always get a pair that is shitty like this for 50-60 bucks - http://www.ultimate3dheaven.com/dlp3dwiglfis.html

They need batteries and are mostly ugly. While thy won't cost 300, i dont see Sony or anyone doing a stylish functional product for under 100 bucks.
