the 360 is similar to the pc in it's architecture, which is why there are so many pc/360 games. However it's the ps3 that's pushing to provide the same experiences. Form it's dedicated servers, which are not as robust as pc's are but they are damed good non the less, to mod support, and usergenerated content to be created and shared amongst the community, to the mmo's, 256 players (you know what I'm talking about, there is only 1 in existance on a console), even home (still I think it's highly misunderstood and still in it's infancy like the ps3 was), soon to be 3d gaming, web browser!! lol ok ok jk. These are luxuries that only pc gamers have had (which explains there often elitest views, but who can blame them).
now the pc will always be ahead of the curve in gaming. It's the only platform only limited to imagination, and budget. But if anone if busting there ass to get close it's playstation and think its time we (console gamers) realise this and support it. Lets stop playing it safe and truly flex our muscles in gaming, it would only result in a big step foward.
on a person note- I soooooo want a gaming pc, but between college tuition, getting a new car, manging a girlfriend......... who loves shoes (tear), I'm dead broke, anyone know of a good gaming pc that can atleast run battlefield 2 on max that is cheap.........
