Oh, and I'll second whoever nominated I, Robot. Anyone who has read that book wants to kick Will Smith in the nuts so badly that it hurts their heart.

I know you'll think I'm a weirdo, but I'm a huge Asimov fan, I've read the book a thousand times, and still think the movie was damn good (knowing that it's not an adaptation, but only takes the names and the company)

That's what bothered me so much about it. I, Robot was a brilliant collection of stories that showed how robots transformed society so much that they were eventually kicked off Earth. It would have been nearly impossible to make into a traditional film, which is why I wish they wouldn't have bastardized the Asimov name and just called it something else. It's a disservice to Asimov to have his name attached to something that is so obviously NOT his creation.

And Smith really needs to read the fucking source material before he ever considers doing another film based on a novel. IMO, it's the polite thing to do. He's a huge star and definitely has the "HELL NO" power if a film strays from a story and turns into a shitfest in the process.
