Let Sony do as planned with 3D instead of waiting for another consumer electronic company to do it 1st. Let people see what they can expect with 3D TV's, demo them in stores and at trade showes, they gotta start some where so why not do it now or in 2010 like they planned.
All this doom is way too early. Sony is making the right move here, create a consumer market before any other company, once a competion joins lower the price until it's affordable for the masses, just like they did with bluray.
