Of course it will fail, first most people are happy with their non-3D HDTV's at the moment, secondly you need 3D glasses, which are stupid for when you're in the house, not to mention those glasses are like $200 each
They need to focus on making 3D tv's which don't require glasses, and wait for a few years until people are ready to replace their current HDTV's, then it might take off
