Splosion Man is a no go. He said no XBLA because they won't let him online.
It's sad to say but when you scratch off M-rated games and T-rated games as well as XBLA games, there isn't a whole lot left on the Xbox 360.
I own only 2 retail e/e10 games. Banjo N&B and You're in the Movies (lol! I got it as part of a cheap family bundle, I wouldn't buy it as a standalone) Even freakin Sceneit? is rated Teen (what's wrong with you ESRB? lol Sceneit? is a family game)
All of the e/e10 games that were mentioned already and the sports games (Madden 10, NBA 2K10, NHL 10, FIFA 10 The Bigs 2 (I hear that MLB 2K9 sucks), Forza Motorsport 3, PGR4, etc.) are all good bets. Hopefully he likes a lot of sports because he's pretty much going to have to live off sports games and the occassional good e/e10 game.
