@mrstick. America didn't join WWII until it had no other choice (when it was personally attacked). You basically fucked Western Europe and Britain over completely by not helping out your friends sooner. Don't try and make Europe feel guilty about it.

America said they wouldn't get involved in a war in Europe so just be thankful they eventually did join. And who cares what their reasons for joining were. If someone gave you a million dollars because you were the ugliest person they'd ever seen I'm sure you'd still take the million dollars.

 

Doesn't mean I would feel indebted to the person either. America did what it did for its own selfish reasons, Europe doesn't owe them a debt.
