That might be true but I think some uninformed buyers might overlook that and then go on getting expensive HD channels and Blu Ray players for a TV that actually doesn't benefit so much from those...

The 720p might explain the low price anyway, I would think at this point most TV makers are focusing on 1080p TVs..
