I really don't like plasma. It's colours may be amazing, but the very idea that it fades out more and more and eventually goes dark (even if it is 10 years) is too much for me. We've had our Sony TV for 10 years now, and it's still useful. I'll take LCD thanks.

But the deal is really,really good.
