I can't help but think VC is there for intensely personal reasons, when it wouldn't be for other pundits. However it would be in my list of top 10 games too. Though I haven't played anywhere near 50 games released in the last faux decade to be able to make a top 50 list. In fact I haven't played 50 games that I would put into a top 50 (I've probably played more than 50 games, but many wouldn't be worthy of being in a list).
I hope they do an Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection for PS3. I didn't get to finish Ico and I never got round to Shadow of the Colossus.
