So my monitor has officially went off it's rocker. I'm am speaking to you now from its last remaining sanity: 800x600.
I bought my monitor from HP about a year and a half ago. After about 6 months, the first one crapped out. It was still under warranty, so I got it replaced. 9 months later the replacement craps out, the one I'm on currently. It is no longer under warranty.
Moral of the story: do not buy monitors from HP.
