Another sad moment is reading some of the stories in Lost Odyssey, it was really moving makes you wonder how Cry On would move us.

Agreed.

A couple of highlights from it that I remember:

The prisoner who went blind after finally being released.

The soldier who was returning from war and got killed by the drunk trying to protect Kaim, not knowing Kaim was immortal.

@ShadowSoldier - This kindof goes back to what I was talking about with Lost Odyssey earlier in the thread. Lost Odyssey had the potential to be the most heartbreaking game of all time. Similarly, killing Snake would have been the most epic and powerful moment in video gaming (IMO). However, developers don't have the balls to do things like that. Shit, if Kojima DID in fact kill of Snake, then we would all be sitting here complaining about the fact that Solid Snake died.

Yeah. Lol I agree with it being like a thankless job for Kojima. But such is the way of greatness. However, Lost Odyssey had tons of emotional moments and I remember being sourly dissappointed when I found out Cry On was cancelled. I hope we hear about something from Mistwalker for 360 in 2010

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
