I loved the ending in MGS4, even if Snake didn't off himself. That wouldn't be an ending fit to what Snake represented throughout the whole series. He wasn't one to just quit in the face of adversity, he would endure all the pain that FoxDie had to offer him and still live through until his final breath, the proud soldier, the final true warrior of the world.
