The PSPGo was never, imo, meant to be a replacement but sold to a sub-branch of the market. DL only has yet to arrive for the majority of customers, hence its failure.

The rumor wasn't about SONY making an attachment, it was logitech.
That's exactly what it is, both systems are being marketted together and SONY said themselves when announcing the Go that the 3000 isn't going anywhere.
This makes very little sense... You're saying it's a failure because it hasn't succeeded yet... That means you know it will succeed but for now it's a failure. Why?

If the Go was meant to be a simultaneous product that could forestall any new product launches, why is Sony going to launch 1 yr after its release? The simple answer is that Sony HQ realized that they had created a lackluster piece of hw.
