Here's a list I made:

Reasons for Wii over HD:
Interesting non-traditional controls
Runs games with much fewer hassles and updates
Much cheaper
Less hardware problems
Several exclusive AAA games
Less power consumption
Little SW error

feel free to take thes as reasons HD is better than PC as well

Sorry for the random necro, test week happened....

Just to address this. It's faulty in both comparisons.

Wii is not "much cheaper" than the HD consoles, especially the lowest 360 SKU. Also the HD consoles are not "much cheaper" than an equivalently powered PC.

I don't see how analog sticks from '95 can be considred anywhere near "interesting non-traditional controls." The mouse didn't even become a mainstay for those games back then so one could argue the mouse is a newer and more interesting control scheme than the PS3 controller.

Also the less hardware problems, while true for the Wii is utterly false as a positive against the PC. The 360 in specific has a far worse failure rate than a PC that has been built competently. YLOD is about as equal as PC I would guess. Also the good thing is if in a PC a failure occurs and you are out of warranty, you replace one part. WIth consoles you have to buy the whole console again.

Several AAA exclusives works in either way, by no means does the Wii have more than the HD consoles and the HD consoles vs PC.

That's about it.

Also, unlike the OP, few of the ones you listed are oft repeated fanboy rants either. I have never heard a PS3 fan their control scheme as interesting ro a 360 fan say they have less hardware failure in my time lurking here.

Again sorry for the necro. Also my stamps are broken so I don't even know if this is a necro or not. I'm just assuming.
