It is simply incorrect to put Rock Band in a list of sub million sellers for PS3:

1. The game released in Others in September '08. Therefore there has been sales of the game in Others since that time.

2. 360 version has 2 million in Americas, 340K in Others vs. PS3 900K in Americas. 360 Americas vs others sales ratio is 6:1, install base ratio is ~ 1.5:1. Americans like Rock Band more than people in Others by ~4:1. PS3 install base ratio between Americas and others is ~1:1.2 assuming a similar 4:1 popularity difference Others sales of RB on PS3 should be about 225K. Even at a 6:1 popularity difference RB in Others would be at about 150K.

Conclusion: RB sales on PS3 are over 1 million. The fact that VGC has no RB Others sales data doesn't make it a sub million seller. Therefore it is perfectly reasonable to say that PS3 has 46 million sellers as of right now. People should accept this as a reality, and include it in any discussion of how many million sellers are out there under the "Rock Band anomaly".

Are there any similar anomalies that should be treated similarly?

For the rest: I think the other games that are in the 900s should make it to 1 million comfortably by the time their sales stop getting tracked. Other than Rock Band 2 and Games that have only been released within the last few months I don't see any other titles cracking 1 million.
