Lets see, I've played tons on PSP (and one or two on DS), but none really amazed me as much as Valkyria Chronicles.
Having that said, I still played some console RPGs; Demon's Souls, Folklore, Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
Valkyria Chronicles.
