No. FFXIII might sell more than 10 million but Lightning and the game itself wont be more popular than Cloud and FFVII. FFVII revolutionize the gaming industry (1st 3d game). Cloud is one of the most popular gaming icon along with Mario and Link. Lightning will be very popular but not as popular as Cloud. Is is almost impossible any new game character to surpass him. As for Lara Croft she is very popular but she more popular in film industry than gaming industry. Lightning has chance to be the most popular female.
