There are many countries in the world where 360 or PS3 haven't even been released.Those countries are where piracy is rampant so they can only release console when hardware has high profits. For example in China neither PS3 nor 360 has been officially released (perhaps even Wii, it wasn't released officially as of last year at least). Sure, you can easily find them but there is no official support in China. So in those countries PS2 is going to be sold for several years because they simply couldn't afford other consoles and they can't get much money from software. In USA, Japan and europe support and sales is likely to be discontinued soon but not the whole world.
