lol, I repaired my YLOD 60gb BC ps3 with a hairdryer lol. Look up videos on youtube. I dont trust the system anymore though so since I already have a slim, I'm gonna sell it on ebay as a broken system later.

Holy shit! If this works I will happily lick your raw unwahsed butthole. Or maybe that was going a little bit too far. No I would. I have a thing for buttholes.

watch this, I was skeptical but since I had nothing to lose I did it anyway and boy was I surprised. To think that I paid sony $150 when my 1st 60gb YLOD and lost all my data too. It probably wont last too long (maybe 2 weeks to 3 months from what I gather) but at least you get enough time to retrieve your data + more which is something sony's $150 charge can't promise you.

SO I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. The video is very poorly made. I am supposed to put my PS3 in a sweater with a hairdryer for 5 minutes and then when I pull it out it will start working?

Wrap your ps3 in a towel/thick sweater to keep the heat in then fry it from the side the power button is for 15 mins (at least thats where I set my hairdryer). I would be careful to avoid starting a fire and avoid direct contact with the ps3 and hair dryer. It may also work in a different manner and may disfigure the side of your ps3 a little bit so use at your own risk. In my case, I already had another ps3 so I did it for the lulz and to get my devil summoner 2 disc back.

Yeah I mostly just want my MW2 disc back and my save games. I just did it and I did fry the side of my PS3 a little which is funny because I ony left it in for 5:30 instead of 7:30. I hope this works!!!
