But FF is an easier game with usualy more entertaining stories like FF4,6 and FF12. The only thing I would like more from FF is less meaningless combat. Something more akin Fall Out series in regards to rate of combat. Non random, but plenty of bandits, villians and stuff. So because of my inherent preference for entertainment(FF) rather than gameplay(DQ) I will grudgingly give my vote to... Final Fantasy |
Great post, and many valid arguments! Before opening this thread I surmised that this would be very one-sided. I'm one of those weird minorities that digs the leveling grind (I know, who gets enjoyment out of that?!). But maybe DQ IX will finally bridge the gap, at least I'm hoping we'll see a popularity rise from the American audience.
